Privacy and Data Protection Notice
This document explains the legal and community framework of the Civorbis closed alpha service.
Controller
The Civorbis service operator is the controller. Its registered legal name, service address and contact channel must be inserted before public launch.
Data collected
Email, username, password hash, language, session/security records, protected IP hash, device/request logs, game actions, economy and communications records may be processed. Passwords are not stored in plain text.
Purpose and lawful basis
Data is processed to perform the membership contract, secure accounts, prevent fraud, operate the game economy, meet legal duties and pursue legitimate interests without overriding fundamental rights. Optional marketing requires separate consent.
Sharing and retention
Data may be shared as necessary with hosting, security and support suppliers. Account and transaction records are retained for service, dispute and legal periods; security logs for a reasonable period required by their purpose.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may exercise access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and portability rights under GDPR and relevant law. Identity verification may be required.
